Ashleigh Rosson was raised in Wagoner, Oklahoma, before moving to Alexandria, Virginia, during her teenage years. She began her college journey at North Carolina Wesleyan College on an academic scholarship, later transferring back to her home state to attend the University of Oklahoma. There, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Language Arts Education and served as President of the OU Chapter of Golden Key International Honor Society.
After a successful 23-year career in Corporate America, Ashleigh transitioned into education, teaching seventh-grade English Language Arts in Sugar Land, Texas. Following three years in Texas, her teaching career took her abroad to Dubai, where she continued to expand her professional and cultural horizons. Upon returning to the U.S., she resettled in Broken Arrow and Wagoner, Oklahoma.
In 2014, Ashleigh’s life was profoundly changed by the sudden death of a 14-year-old family member from epilepsy, only months after his diagnosis. Motivated by his struggle and the growing stories of families relocating to access medical cannabis for epilepsy treatment, she began investigating cannabinoid therapies. Encouraged by a father of an epileptic child, she studied emerging research from Israel and immersed herself in the science and practice of medical cannabis.
Since 2017, Ashleigh has built a strong network of researchers, practitioners, and advocates within the cannabis field. In 2018, she became a Certified Plant Practitioner, specializing in cannabinoid therapy with a focus on microdosing and individualized titration to help patients manage conditions and improve quality of life.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Ashleigh is an accomplished athlete, having completed ten full marathons. She was recognized as Top Ten Under Forty in a community of more than 90,000 residents and has contributed her leadership to multiple boards, including the Rochester Symphony Orchestra, NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), Season’s Hospice, and the Mayo Clinic Institutional Review Board.
After having spent 30 years in education and school administration, Dori Anne transitioned to research and writing in the alternative health field. A lifelong passion for health and wellness combined with an MS diagnosis spurred her on to finding ways that humans can heal themselves from autoimmunity and many other modern dis-eases. Certified as a restorative health coach, and trained as a homeopathic doctor, she runs Prairie Hills Health, an alternative medical clinic located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
